Seven pieces, a well, and a clock. Clear rows, chase the level, and post your score to a board that everyone with the game can see.

The modes

• Marathon: play until the well fills, the speed climbing every ten lines
• Challenge: forty lines as fast as you can
• Sprint and Ultra: against the clock, for the board
• Versus: two players, one machine, two wells, garbage both ways
• The Daily: the same seed for everyone, a new board every day

On the network

Sign in once with your RetroPlay.Network gamertag and a six-digit PIN. From then on the game posts your bests, shows who is playing, lands your awards as you earn them, and carries the news on its menu. Nothing here needs the network to play: a machine with no serial card plays the whole game offline.

Is it for you?

Yes, if:

• you want a falling-block game that plays properly on the X16, with hold, a ghost, T-spins and back-to-backs
• you would like your scores somewhere your friends can see them
• you like a daily challenge you can talk about

Probably not, if:

• you are after a story mode. There is a well and a clock.

What you need

A Commander X16 with 512 KB and an SD card. A serial card and a RetroPlay.Network account for the boards, the awards and the daily challange, without them the game plays in offline mode with no issues.
